FAQs

  • Individual therapy sessions: Available in-person or online. Session rate is $180 for a 50-minute session and we typically meet weekly or bi-weekly.

Family therapy sessions: Available in-person or online. Session rate is $270 for an 80-minute session. (Note: Individual sessions may also accompany family sessions, as needed.)

  • Honey Run Counseling is not currently contracted with any insurance providers.
Clients can choose to pay by cash, check, or IVY pay - a HIPAA compliant payment system only available to licensed therapists. (HSA payment will default to IVY pay).

Note: Your insurance may reimburse for a portion or the entirety of sessions, depending on your coverage.

It is the responsibility of the client or client’s guardian to contact the insurance provider directly regarding reimbursement. Questions regarding reimbursement should be directed toward a client’s insurance provider. Honey Run Counseling will provide electronic receipts, also known as SuperBills, for paid sessions on either a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis depending on client need. It is then the responsibility of the client or client’s guardian to file with their insurance for reimbursement.

If you have additional questions regarding payment, please feel free to contact me directly.

  • Honey Run is a namesake in honor of one of my favorite landmarks from my hometown in Northern California. The Honey Run Covered Bridge tragically burnt down in the 2018 Camp Fire, a wildfire that destroyed many homes, claimed 85 lives, and wreaked havoc in our community. The Honey Run Covered Bridge has since been rebuilt and feels like a great metaphor for the resiliency, support, and healing therapy can provide.
